From the Enkahnz workshop floor to the boxing ring, apprentice Hadee Abbas has proved that discipline and craftsmanship share the same foundation. Under the mentorship of Naveed Khan, Hadee’s journey from Bradford student to Yorkshire Boxing Champion shows how focus, grit, and consistency can shape both fighters and future craftsmen.
Hadee Abbas is the apprentice at EnKahnz and now also the current Yorkshire Champion in amateur boxing. He divides his week between the Bodyshop floor and the boxing gym, bringing the same calm focus to a sanding block that he shows under pressure in the ring.
Colleagues describe a quiet worker with strong habits: early starts, steady hands, and respect for the process, traits that have already translated into results on fight

The Man Who Spotted the Talent
After that introduction comes the story of the man who spotted him; Naveed Barugzai Khan, who also grew up in Bradford and spent his early years training in amateur boxing at the Bradford Police Boys Club.
He loved the sport not for show, but for the grind; the feeling of getting sharper, fitter, and more disciplined every single day.
As a teenager, he would run at first light and hit the bag after school, always chasing improvement.
When the chance to go further in boxing didn’t come, he carried that same hunger into car customisation, starting from his back garden with small repair jobs. That drive eventually built a modest workshop that grew into EnKahnz.
The lessons from boxing: show up, repeat, improve; became the foundation of how he works, leads, and now mentors others.

Nav and Hadee — from fighter to mentor, passing down the discipline that built EnKahnz.
From Bradford to the Belt
Commanding the ring — a dominant performance that sealed the Yorkshire title.
Hadee’s journey runs in parallel to Naveed’s early years. A former student of Dixons Allerton Academy, he trains out of Aztec Boxing Club (BD8) under Coach Mo Ali, where his style is built on fundamentals; tight guard, clean footwork, and composure between exchanges.
Weighing in at 51 kg, Hadee faced Jack Taylor of White Rose Boxing Club; a seasoned fighter with 14 bouts under his name, for the Yorkshire Title.
The bout took place at Bradford City Football Stadium, in front of a packed local crowd, a fitting stage for two rising Yorkshire talents.
The matchup drew comparisons to the memorable toe-to-toe matchup between Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr.

Trading shots — composure under fire against Jack Taylor, who came in with 14 fights of experience.
Hadee showed maturity beyond his record. He controlled the pace, stayed patient, and used sharp movement reminiscent of Prince Naseem’s flair and Muhammad Ali’s shuffle, floating on his feet and countering with precision. When the final bell rang, the judges were unanimous: Yorkshire Champion.
“The fight was tough,” Hadee said afterwards. “Jack Taylor was a formidable opponent and fought well. But I stayed disciplined; footwork, timing, and confidence. I try to bring that Prince Naseem energy and Ali’s movement every time I step in the ring.”

The Workshop Connection

Same focus, different scene — discipline in the ring mirrors discipline on the shop floor.
Back at the EnKahnz Bodyshop, Hadee is learning car body repairs and customisation directly from Naveed, who treats each project like a piece of art. The garage’s standards match the gym’s: precise lines, no shortcuts, and visible improvement week to week.
Mentorship Built on Grit
Naveed’s role is clear and direct. Seeing Hadee’s hunger and focus, he brought him into the EnKahnz Apprentice Programme and shaped a schedule that fits both training and fight weeks.
The mentorship is practical: learn a trade, earn responsibility, and keep the athletic routine intact. The lesson is the same in both places; discipline first, results second.
Next Round: Boxing and Beyond

The reward for discipline — Hadee’s first title belt, with many more to come.
Naveed’s dream was always to become a boxer, but the timing and lack of support back then meant he couldn’t take it as far as he wanted. Now, through Hadee, that dream has found new life.
He’s mentoring him closely; giving guidance, structure, and using his own network of high-profile athletes and connections in the boxing world to open doors that were once closed.
For Hadee, the path ahead is clear: keep improving, stay humble, and represent Bradford the right way, both in the ring and at EnKahnz.
The aim is steady growth, no shortcuts. It’s an approach Naveed knows better than anyone and one that Hadee now lives by every single day.
